Only one record to B. atomarius (L.) on V. faba was found, in the field and in stored domestic production of Vicia faba beans in DE (Bahr, 1976). Assuming this record was of larvae or adults feeding inside the seed, (it does not state) then seed can be considered as a pathway. However as this is the only record, experts considered that Vicia faba is a rare or unusual host and thus rarely affected.
